UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — "Mosaic," Penn State School of Music’s highly anticipated annual concert that brings together the very best of student talent for a one-of-a-kind showcase, will take place at Eisenhower Auditorium on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 4 p.m., promising an immersive experience of sight and sound.
"Mosaic" is designed to captivate and surprise, featuring an array of performances from Penn State’s finest student soloists and top ensembles. Special lighting effects guide the audience’s attention throughout Eisenhower Auditorium, linking performances from the stage to the grand tier and balcony, creating a multi-sensory journey through a diverse musical program. Applause is reserved for intermission and the grand finale, allowing the show to flow seamlessly and heightening the drama of each new performance as it emerges.
Organized by the School of Music’s ensemble area and supported by dedicated faculty and the skilled technical team at Eisenhower Auditorium, "Mosaic" showcases the incredible dedication and artistry of Penn State’s music students. This year's concert will feature performances by soloists and small ensembles chosen through auditions held in October, ensuring a high-caliber and thrilling program.
